Sruti

  • Sruti asks the question: Who is the One that cannot leave you?

With whose vision are we seeing when the lights of consciousness are going out?

When we wake up each morning only to more deeply know this one, and go to sleep at night within its embrace - when our days are shaped and defined by its light - then we move as limitless love within limited circumstances. - Sruti
  • Sruti_portraitSruti writes about her experience with an uncommon and painful illness called Interstitial Cystitis. This ongoing and chronic condition challenged her to stay present with daily pain and to look further inward for answers.

In an extreme moment of pain, in which consciousness began to fade, Sruti experienced the erasure of all that clouds over the earliest source of vision. She asks the question: who is the One that cannot leave you? With whose vision are we seeing when the lights are going out?

Sruti finds that we can allow what is painful to disrupt the ordinary layers of our experience, so that we may find the source of unconditional love within ourselves - that we already exist unharmed underneath those layers.

Can we investigate the source of ordinary vision - can we find the place of true being that is earlier that who we think we are?
